2025 Power & Privilege Symposium
|
|
|
Today is the annual Power & Privilege (P&P) Symposium. Classes are not in session, and students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend as their schedules allow.
The day will begin with an opening speech by Dr. Terrell Strayhorn titled “From Me to We: Cultivating Community, Hope and Belonging.” Strayhorn will invite attendees to come together across differences, build meaningful connections and shape a campus environment rooted in inclusivity and mutual support.

Sheehan Gallery Panel Discussion Tomorrow
|
The Sheehan Gallery will host a panel discussion related to the current “FACT: fashion + art construct tomorrow” exhibition on Friday, Feb. 21, at 5:30 p.m. in Olin 129. Kynde Kiefel, Director of Donald H. Sheehan Gallery, will moderate a discussion with exhibit contributors Erik ReeL ’75, Rhonda P. Hill and Palani Bearghost.

Reminder: Sign Up for the Junior-Senior Housing Lottery
|
Sign ups for the Junior-Senior Housing Lottery are currently underway. Today is the last day to apply for five- and six-person housing options. Applications for one- to four-bedroom apartments and houses will be due Tuesday, Feb. 25. More detailed information about the housing lottery process is available online.

Looking for a Spring Break adventure? The Outdoor Program will facilitate a backpacking trip in Utah’s Grand Gulch from March 15–23. Advance registration is required. The $500 trip fee—which includes gear, transportation, food and accommodations—can also be reduced using the Bob Carson Outdoor Program Fund.
